Precision Thickness Gauge DM 2010

The DM 2010 thickness gauge is a precise, easy-to-use and professional thickness gauge for determining the thickness of various materials. The most common test materials include textiles, nonwovens, geomaterials, paper, floor coverings, leather, foils and rubber. It is manufactured by us from a stable and robust housing with encapsulation against external influences. The DM 2010 thickness gauge is your choice if you value high display accuracy (up to 0.0001 mm), very high measuring accuracy, easy handling, fully automatic processing and objective, reproducible, non-manipulable results.

The thickness gauge can be used for different standards by using different measuring surfaces and load masses. The modular design means that customer-specific requirements can also be implemented.

 Features:

Possible measuring ranges: 0-10, 0-25, 0-50, 0-100 mm

Resolution: 0,01 mm, 0,001 mm oder 0,0001 mm

Measuring surface: to 400 cm²

Measuring pressure min. : 2 kPa with a measuring surface of 1 cm² (20 g mass)

Measuring pressure max. : 500 kPa with a measuring surface of 1 cm² (5000 g mass)

Feeler movement: automatically

Operation: 5" resistive touchscreen, foot switch

Interface:  USB / RS232

Dimension: 260 x 180 x 400 mm (L x B x H)

Weight approx.: 22 Kg

Operating voltage: 24V

The reproducible measurement results are achieved by the constant measuring force over the entire measuring range.

Thanks to the motorized and automatic probe movement, you can easily measure materials of different heights with the DM 2010.

The DM 2010 thickness gauge complies with ISO, EN, DIN standards or your own test requirements.

It is operated via the 5” resistive touchscreen or by pressing the foot switch. Individual measurements or fully automatic series measurements can be carried out.

In the initial state, the measuring surface is in its uppermost position. After activating the measuring function, the measuring surface moves towards the measuring table at a constant speed (25 mm/min.). As soon as the measuring surface rests on the sample, the electromechanics are decoupled. As a result, only the set measuring force acts at the measuring point without being influenced by external factors. The measuring surface remains on the sample for an (adjustable) period of time. The measured value is then displayed on the touchscreen and saved.   The measuring surface then moves back up to the starting position.

We are happy to check and implement other operating modes that deviate from the standard by arrangement.

The measured values and statistical elements (standard deviation, mean value, min. measured value, max. measured value, measurement number) can be displayed graphically and / or numerically and further processed using our PDMG PRO statistics software (included with DM2010).

The previously set limits are shown in the graphical display. If these limits are exceeded or not reached, the measured values are highlighted in red, giving the user a direct and efficient visual check of the measured values.

Adjustable parameters: Dwell time, opening height after the measuring process, min. / max. limits, unit (mm, inch), language (DE, ENG, FR)
